Steacie Library


The Steacie Library opened on October 14, 1966, making it the first York University Library.  The library was named after Ned Steacie, a prominent research chemist. Today it houses resources relating to general science, mathematics and statistics, computer science and technology, physics, chemistry, earth science, biology, kinesiology, neuroscience and nursing.
